Our teaching philosophy centres around nurturing the person first and the musician second. Music lessons are not “one-size-fits-all” - like everything else in life, learning music is a process that is nuanced and different for everyone. Too many of us know what it feels like to be told we aren’t good enough and to become dissuaded from various creative outlets. At Elliotson Music, we seek to provide a space where aspiring musicians feel supported, encouraged, and continuously inspired to persevere. Along with patience and consistency, we believe that learning music in this kind of environment allows each student to grow and excel as a musician and as a person.
